Public Subsidies and State Aid

Advising on public subsidies and state aid is one of our main areas of expertise. Our lawyers regularly advise international corporations, large and medium-sized companies, and public authorities on issues relating to funding law. This includes advising on funding law in relation to planned large-scale projects, representing clients in state aid proceedings before national and European authorities and courts, and advising on funding law in connection with M&A projects. Our state aid team has many years of expertise in advising on subsidies at federal and state level as well as on subsidies within the European framework (IPCEI, Horizon Europe, ESA, etc.).
